What are the Different Engines Used in the Volvo S90?

The Volvo S90 is a luxury full-sized sedan that comes in three trims with three different motors. The trim levels begin at the T5 level which is of a higher caliber than some of the highest models of Volvo’s competitors. The T6 and T8 models have their versions of the T5 engine.

The T5 trim level sports a 2.0-Liter Inline-4-cylinder engine that generates 250-horsepower and 254 pound-feet of torque. The T6 upgrades the 2.0-Liter Inline-4-cylinder engine with turbocharged and supercharged augmentation to make 316-horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The T8 trim level takes the 2.0-Liter Inline-4-Cylinder engine to a level beyond imagination by coupling the T6 engine with an electric motor to generate 400-horsepower and 472 pound-feet of torque.

All are available at Volvo Cars Keene. The T5 is great for those who wish a leisurely drive around while the T6 and T8 models are enhanced performance vehicles.
